Share local time across timezones

Sometimes I do not need to convert their time to mine. I need to convert my time to theirs before I send the message.

ToLocalTime can do that too. Open Options, choose the target timezone, and type the time phrase.

Examples to try

Use the target timezone option

The default answer is your local timezone. For sharing, I switch the target timezone to the other person's city or region.

Then I type my proposed time. The answer is the version I can send without making them do the conversion.

When I still include both

For work messages, I usually write both times as "4pm Singapore / 1am Pacific." It is clearer when someone reads the thread later.

For casual messages, one local answer is often enough.

Quick answers

How do I share my time in someone else's local time?

Open Options, choose their timezone, and type the time you have in mind. The result is the version you can send them.

Should I send one time or both times?

For work, I usually send both. "4pm Singapore / 1am Pacific" is easier to check later than a single converted time.
